If there’s anything that was proven during the recent AMAs, it’s that BTS are indeed global superstars. During the premiere of the awards, with so many A list celebrities asking for selcas with the group, some have even joked that the night turned into a meet-and-greet for BTS instead. The scope of their fanbase really is too extensive to imagine—proof of this can be found in the celebs who were in attendance in the Permission to Dance – LA concert. Find out below who these big stars are.

Anderson .Paak And Family

Amongst the tumultuous sea of adoring fans in the concert is the other half of Silk Sonic, American rapper Anderson .Paak along with his family.

The meeting itself was buzz-worthy as they exchanged signed albums, snapped photos together and even briefly sang Silk Sonic’sLeave the Door Open” together.

Moments of their interaction can be viewed in .Paak’s instagram, where he wrote, “[Let me know] if you need another member! I work well in groups!!!”

We can most likely expect for the two groups to cross paths again in the 64th Grammy Awards as they’re both nominated—BTS for Best Pop/Duo Group Performance for “Butter” and Silk Sonic for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance for “Leave the Door Open”.

Lizzo

One of the celebs that was also present during the Permission to Dance concert was Lizzo—whom ARMYs were also glad to see amongst the attendees. It seems that the the American singer is a an avid presence in BTS’ radar as she went viral, along with American singer Sza, a few days before the concert for her interaction with Jungkook, V, Jimin and J-hope at Harry Style’s concert.

It’s not the first time the rapper has expressed her fondness for the members of the Korean boy band. Last April of this year, Lizzo was setting social media abuzz regarding BTS, too. In a TikTok Live, she admitted that her bias was actually Jimin. However, when it comes to fashion and style, V takes the cake. She adds, “You can’t take your eyes off of this man. He dresses, he got that je ne sais quoi.”

Arci Munoz

Filipina actress and proud ARMY, Arci Muñoz, was also in attendance and was seen fangirling and bopping to hit songs “On,” “Life Goes On” and “Boy With Luv” in her IG stories. A true fan, Arci has always flooded her vlogs and travels with all things BTS—to spending almost half of her salary on BT21 merch hauls to even gifting Jungkook land in Scotland for his birthday!

Halsey

Amongst all the celebs, Halsey can most probably be considered the OG. The American popstar is so close to the boys that when they were asked during a Wired interview, “Who is BTS’ best friend,” their immediate answer was Halsey. Inevitably, this caused some ARMYs to get a tad jealous!

Looking fresh in her print crop top, the new mom was caught in camera grooving to BTS’ first full English song, Dynamite. Undeniably, some fans wished that Halsey and the band went on stage to perform their smash hit collab, Boy With Luv. Albeit seeing her present and being acknowledged by the boys during the concert was already more than enough.

After the concert, she expressed just how true of an ARMY she is with a single-sentenced tweet.

Ylona Garcia

The Filipino-Australian singer and previous Pinoy Big Brother star was also amongst the hyped-up crowd experiencing euphoria. Ylona, who enjoyed the concert from a VIP view and a nearby lounge, shared to netizens some of her favorite snapped moments in her IG account.
