Just a few months after getting our first peek at Heart Evangelista-Escudero’s most-anticipated collection during NYFW, Love Marie and Kamiseta finally unveiled their limited edition collection to the public. Reintroducing herself in the fashion industry as “Love Marie,” the runway show impeccably lived up to her name as it was filled with such exquisite floral arrangements—from Ecuadorian roses, baby’s breath, to hydrangeas.
As the 80s music gave everyone a nostalgic feeling, models strut the runway in a euphoric mood featuring Heart’s work of art. With an understanding that while life may not perfect but hope is always present, her collection with Kamiseta showcased a variety of vibrant hues.
According to her, the featured paintings in the collection “represents everything I’ve been through the past thirty-three years, my life’s ups and downs, my ‘colorful’ tears… I want people to understand that life isn’t always happy but you should always be hopeful, that’s why I use bright colors in my paintings.”
Aside from her remarkable paintings on the clothes, pleated detailing, striped patterns, and denim pieces also took over the picturesque runway reflecting Heart’s elegant and timeless style. With the show and the collection being a success, and her dreams fulfilled, our favorite style inspiration once more proves to us that no dreams are too big—anything is possible. After all, as what Heart has always emphasized, “you are who you are, and that is your power.”
