“Whether you are slower or faster compared to others, you have to keep moving forward,” she tells me reassuringly as I asked her about her top success tips. At the cover shoot, her infectious energy coupled with Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia album becoming the official soundtrack of the day, she had us wondering if it was a day of work or friends simply having a good time.

IN THE PINK – The restaurateur does not shy away from bold statements, including a flash of skin. To help keep herself in shape, she indulges in the Avignon Clinic’s Exilis Elite

“My advice is to start. If you have an idea, study the market and your competitors while balancing it with the beauty of being naïve and young,” she laughs as she reminisces about how bold she was, “Looking back at it now, I can’t believe I did that!

So allow yourself to make mistakes and adapt, not only in your brand, but also yourself. It’s on those mistakes that you’re able to build and become stronger.”

Having cultivated her own brand, business, and identity, what’s next for someone who already has success alongside her name? Romero answers that it’s helping others do the same. “I’m looking more into social enterprises, something that I could teach to my generation and work more with people in the social aspect of a business that’s more sustainable,“ she excitingly hints about her plans.

BODY LOVE – As an athlete, Milka Romero treats her body with respect and uses the Avignon Vital Dome to help her body recover from a hard day’s work.

“A circular business that would change the way people run things in the service industry and making it successful.” With the rest of her life still ahead of her, there’s no denying that Milka Romero is already taking action on her plans–working hard while dancing to her own beat.
