A brand with so many tales and so much history, Gucci knows how to evolve and maintain its relevance in today’s changing times. While the brand continues to adapt and incorporate trends in their designs and releases, the Gucci trademark is deemed classic and timeless. Whether it’s the horsebit, the House crest, or the GG logo—when it’s Gucci, it’s Gucci

This season, the House is releasing three new collections that not only keep up with the trends but also preserve Gucci’s iconic branding. If you’re planning a summer getaway, spending some quality time with your pets, or looking for an all-in-one hand or shoulder carry—this is your calling to get away with Gucci.

GUCCI TOWARDS THE SUN

Exude a warm, elegant aura with the ready-to-wear pieces from the Towards The Sun Collection. Shot in Provincetown, the campaign is an ode to a summer time spent strolling, swimming, and sunbathing in Cape Cod.

The slip dresses are adorned with muted and bright floral prints that scream tropical. Made with a cooling muslin fabric, the pieces are flowy and easy to wear as breathing—a practical, feminine choice. Who knew that a sophisticated black, lace trimming will elevate a bright, flowy summer dress?

Under the men’s ready-to-wear range, you have an option to dress down or dress up with the selection of bright nylon jackets and double-breasted blazers, as well as jogging shorts and patterned pants.

Soak up in the sun and sand or tan the days away with three new swimwear for women. First on the list is a single-strap one piece with a bright, tropical print.

If you want to opt for a more subdued style, the black bikini with the signature interlocking G hardware and the black one piece with the white GG logo are for you.

The designs of the classic bags are also reinterpreted in coordination with the collection’s codes. An example is the GG Marmont updating its golden GG hardware housed in a seersucker top flap. It also comes with woven GG monograms in the rafia-effect fabric.

Meanwhile, the House redefines the Gucci Horsebit 1955 through a rafia-effect GG motif outlined with a leather trim.

One of the designs of Gucci Diana uses a woven, bright blue houndstooth pattern which complements and highlights the bamboo top handles with varying colors of the leather band. The slightly subdued woven GG monogram with different shades of leather trimming is another style to look out for if the former houndstooth pattern is too much for you.

Some regions will have access to the exclusive designs for Japan and USA, namely the Gucci Bamboo 1947 and the Gucci Jackie 1961, respectively.

Taking a progressive move with Gucci’s history and legacy anchored on luggage, the Travel Tote Bag comes in two different sizes with two green-red-green jacquard Webs and a red and green interlocking G defining the piece.

The collection also pays homage to the Gucci Ophidia luggage, a century–long legacy of the brand for travel.

Summer footwear-wise, the collection also offers a variety of sandals, mules, loafers, and slip-on sneakers featuring the GG monogram woven from raffia-effect material.

The elements of the collection will also be reimagined in hats, belts, and chain wallets.

All pieces are now available in stores worldwide and on Gucci’s website

GUCCI PET COLLECTION

The Gucci Lifestyle is expanding its cabinet of curiosities with the Gucci Pet Collection

The line features its high-quality craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability. The pieces are made from recycled polyester, cotton, or Demetra.

Demetra is an exclusive fabric founded by the House last June 2021 after years of research and development. It is made from animal-free raw materials and manufactured in Italy for the tanning process. Pliable and soft, yet durable—Demetra embodies the resilience Gucci has established since its founding.

An assemblage of items for your furry friends, the collection offers copious collar and harness designs that resonate with the identity of your dog or your cat: plain leather, GG canvas, Web stripe, Herbarium, and the geometric G print; and with the interlocking G logo and stud embellishments.

These designs, having the materials and motif, are also available for leashes, bag holders, and Air Tag cases for you and your pet to coordinate or mix and match with each other.

Some pieces are also staples for the home such as the Made-To-Order miniature couches, feeding bowls and cloches, hard-sided cases with detachable ceramic bowls and handles; as well as coordinated feeding mats. These articles also come with the designs of the House.

Elevate your canine and feline’s travel experience and keep them safe and secure inside the GG canvas carriers. Take coordination to the next level and match with your pets with the array of apparel available for them—polos, shirts, knitwear, and coats in vibrant palettes and playful, signature motifs like all-over strawberries and hearts to Interlocking Gs and the classic monogram.

Gucci’s vision for individuality is captured through the photography and art direction of Max Siedentopf in this campaign, giving the playful cast of cats and dogs their own time to shine in this retro-feel concept.

GUCCI WITH LIZZO

In this year’s BET Awards last June 26, singer-songwriter-rapper Lizzo rocked a Gucci glamor look with a custom piece from the House—a navy blue lurex dress with deep neckline, oversized shoulder and flared sleeve detail with black feather trim and lace corset with black leather high heel platform sandals.
