GMA Network continues the tradition of rekindling the Christmas spirit with a song about sharing our love with everyone this holiday season
From Christmas decorations lighting up our homes, holiday delicacies, to children serenading houses with Yuletide songs—getting high on the Christmas spirit is relatively easy for Filipinos because our country has many exciting traditions to mark the beginning of the season. And if there’s one more thing that uplifts the Filipino Christmas spirit, it is the much-anticipated Christmas station IDs prepared by the television networks.
This year, GMA delivered a star-studded Christmas station ID highlighting love for family and humanity, featuring the network’s A-list celebrities such as Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Dingdong Dantes, Bea Alonzo, Dennis Trillo, and Michael V.
Guided by the network’s principle of “One in Heart with Every Filipino,” they showcased the importance of knowing the true meaning of love this Christmas. It channels hope, and aims to encourage sharing love and shedding light this season.
The Christmas station ID is a tribute to us Filipinos who embody the character of generosity and love without restrictions. Its meaningful theme featured celebrations spent with family, friends, and co-stars. Start-Up lead stars Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo were highlighted in the music video, welcoming Kapuso supporters for a Christmas party in their home—a way of showing appreciation for their never-ending support all year round.
The network’s new Christmas anthem also includes clips of GMA employees from behind the camera and the broadcasting team, wearing their brightest smiles for the season of love and generosity.
The original track, “Love is Us This Christmas,” was written by Emman Rivera and Jann Fayel Lopez. Meanwhile, the song was beautifully delivered by Kapuso singers, led by Julie Anne San Jose, Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, and Aicelle Santos.
