Furne One is a legend in his own right. The distinguished fashion designer’s formative work has created the DNA of his one-of-a-kind technique in garment making. We saw his proficiency in creating lavish and unconventional designs when he won MEGA Magazine’s Young Designer of the Philippines Award in 1994 and the Japan Women Wear Award of the same year. Coincidentally, this year he has been recognized by the same company that gave him his first award all those years ago. This time around, it’s the MEGA Fashion Awards, co-presented by RLC Residents, that has awarded Furne One with the honor of Fashion Designer of the Year.
