Held at Whitespace Manila, yesterday’s Lustrous Beauty Con was a dream for makeup-obsessed girls and boys. “I wanted this day to be all about you guys,” said Nadine Lustre, the face and Chief Creative Director of Lustrous, her makeup collaboration with BYS Cosmetics. Staying true to her words, the event was filled with beauty talks, a makeover station, as well as shopping and dining booths.

Once guests had settled in, the gorgeous Laura Lehman, a BYS endorser herself, opened the floor for the day’s program. She welcomed MEGA Editor-in-Chief Peewee Reyes-Isidro and Beauty & Features Editor Trina Epilepsia Boutain, who both talked about how to achieve show-stopping looks with minimal effort—using Lustrous products, of course. From a bold red lip to a sultry smoky eye, it was evident that their tips fascinated the crowd.

Later on, Nadine joined the editors on stage. As fans cheered on, I couldn’t help but notice that many of them interpreted the star’s signature looks in their own unique ways—whether it be a form of her signature drunk blush or aqua eyeliner.
Since launching Lustrous, Nadine has certainly come a long way, proving to us her passion and skill when it comes to pursuing her projects.
