A typhoon can be very unpredictable, and we don’t really known how strong winds and rains can be. The country is not new to experiencing calamities and disasters, but not everyone has the privilege to secure their resources and prepare for a coming typhoon quickly.

If you are reading this, you probably are safe with an internet connection or mobile data that keeps your communication with your family and friends. Unlike us, people Bulacan, Quezon Province, and Nueva Ecija were deeply affected by the Super Typhoon Rolly (Noru).

Now more than ever, we should extend our help to those in need. Here is where we can send our donations, in cash or in kind.

Caritas Manila

With over 60 years of offering assistance to those who are in need, the non-profit organization has helped different members of the community. From COVID assistance to Luzon earthquake donations, Caritas has been active in ensuring that they will reach people even outside Manila. You can send your donations here.

Pawssion Project

Besides humans, animals are greatly affected by calamities, too. Whether you are an owner or someone who happens to have seen a lost pet, Pawssion Project is here to raise awareness on taking care of animals during typhoons. Read up on how to properly care for your pets. You can help the affected animals by donating here.

GCash

The app has been helpful in more ways than one when it comes to seamless transactions, but did you know that you can also use it to donate through their partner organizations? You may check the post on how you can do it.

YACAP

The Youth Advocates for Climate Action Philippines is an organization that advocates for climate justice. Besides the knowledge they’re sharing to promote accountability of our actions to save the environment, they have also opened their platform for donations during this time.
