There is nothing more versatile than a really good piece of denim. Tommy Esguerra, Kaila Estrada, and Richard Juan can attest to that. The SM Youth ambassadors pulled off really cool denim looks as we met them at the SM Youth and SM Men’s Denim Fashion Show at SM Makati. And while we’re at it, we took the chance to ask the three about all the denim pieces they can’t live without. Let’s just say that Richard has a unique taste for undergarments…
Jacket
A good denim jacket can serve more than just styling purposes. So we can’t blame the three when they all mentioned jackets as one of their denim must-haves. And just like what Tommy said, “How can you not?”
Jeans
Who doesn’t have a good pair of denim jeans in their closet? It’s easily one of the first choices we make in picking our OOTDs. This is probably the reason why all three recommended a good pair of denim jeans to have. But if you want to be a little different, Kaila suggests a nice pair of flared denim jeans. Now that’s how you step up your denim jeans game!
Shorts
Denim shorts are one of the comfiest bottoms you could ever have. It can even easily transcend from day to night. Wear it for a quick stroll or a night out—you simply can’t ever go wrong with it. Wear it with a casual tee, a sleek bodysuit, or even a crisp button-down, just like Kaila!
