COS is finally opening in Manila. The London-based brand, beloved for its minimalist and modern designs, will be found in SM Aura come summertime.

Cool Girl Fashion

The fashionista staple has a strong following, especially among those who love clean, uncomplicated designs with fashion-forward twists. Think several iterations of the crisp white shirt and relaxed, boxy blouses; hip-slung trousers and tent dresses done in a variety of neutral and putty-like shades that you can pair with Dries Van Noten heels or Common Project sneakers.

“Opening in Manila is an exciting step for the COS Brand. We have been hoping to enter the market for some time and I think our new Manila store is a great place to start. I’m excited to see how new customers will engage with our brand and collections,” says Christopher Sellin, COS Asia Pacific Managing Director.

Devoted Following

Expect your cool tita to be the first in line for this launch. You know, the one who is hanging on to her Old Céline bags, wears Tevas to school runs and is a committed follower of Marie Kondo’s decluttering lifestyle. COS has a devoted fanbase that make it a point to stop by the brand’s many stores in fashion capitals all over the world. Its Manila arrival will surely be welcomed by its core followers eager to share its clean aesthetic to more people. On top of that, a host of new fans are sure to emerge, thanks to COS’ socially- and eco-conscious direction.

Conscious Creations

The store will debut the S/S ’21 collection filled with refined wardrobe staples, including lightweight knitwear, tailored sets and blazers. Like its sister brand H&M, sustainability is also top-of-mind for COS, with zero-waste knits, jewelry created from recycled yogurt pots and sustainably-sourced organic cotton pieces.

Can’t wait for COS’ Manila debut? Neither can we. Watch this space for more details. For now, browse the latest collection and mentally add to cart.
