The new Create Next campaign by Converse and MEGA prove that their longtime partnership is more unstoppable than ever
Celebrities, influencers, personalities–these are the types of people that have been doing their best in providing us with new and creative content almost everyday. While there are already a lot of content creators from all around the world, it’s never too late to step into our own spotlight and share our original, artistic, and imaginative ideas to everyone, and embodying the Create Next mentality will definitely inspire us to step out of our comfort zone and join the rest of the creatives out there. Fueled by those who broke barriers in their own industries before each and every single one of us, we move where inspiration takes us next, which is what the Create Next mentality by Converse All Stars is all about.
All or nothing
When talking about go-to pairs of sneakers, it’s almost impossible not to hear someone mention Converse All Stars. It’s such a classic brand that there’s always at least one pair in our collection. However, Converse All Stars isn’t just a type of shoe, but also a group of creative, talented, and passionate individuals who continue to embrace their originality, all while encouraging an open space for aspiring All Stars.
After more than two years in the making, Converse All Stars has now grown into a global community of at least 3,000 people from more than 30 cities all over the world. In every way they can, these All Stars change the game so everyone can play. This stands as their contribution to everyone’s relentless pursuit of progress. The vision behind the establishment of the Converse All Stars boils down to the brand believing that their iconic canvas can serve as another canvas meant for creative action and progress by investing in bold ideas and directly collaborating with the most creative and talented minds out there.
The next wave
Breaking barriers of culture, style, and innovation leads to constructing new possibilities. This is the backbone of the Create Next mentality as it encourages the Converse All Stars to ignite their creative passions for themselves and the next wave of artists, performers, and visionaries. Having launched Create Next just this Fall 2021, the campaign aims to empower everyone to expand their horizons and meet new heights as a new year filled with challenging yet still exciting opportunities lies ahead. Each person embodying the Create Next mindset eventually steps into their own industry more ready to inspire and share their knowledge and talent to everyone around them.
For a long time now, Converse has been a staple collaborator of MEGA. While the former adds edgy and creative spice to the magazine brand, the latter amplifies it to the next level. Prior to this joint collaboration to highlight Create Next, there was Love Fearlessly in early 2020 that featured none other than Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach, herself. This previous partnership between Converse and MEGA highlighted every person’s fearless drive and determination to achieve lifelong goals, including that of the beauty queen’s as well. It also emphasized the importance of being unafraid to accept and love ourselves no matter the circumstances life throws at us.
Apart from Love Fearlessly, Converse and MEGA also brought the house down with the Girl Gang Class of 2019. Through this campaign, which was aptly launched during women’s month, 10 women of different professions were celebrated for defining what it means to be a woman in the 21st century. From photographer Shaira Luna, athlete Majoy Baron, filmmaker Samantha Lee, to businesswoman Milka Romero, this collaboration definitely portrayed what a powerful and influential girl gang is all about.
This 2021, the two brands are in for another killer collab in the form of Create Next, which only goes to show that the long term relationship between Converse and MEGA isn’t ending anytime soon. It’s only uphill from here as we remain unstoppable to create next.
