LUSH FOR LIFE

Masterful blending is the key to wearing bright tones in a soft, natural way. The right tools and a bit of practice will make it perfect.

HIGH LINE

Strategic blush placement can take the place of contouring for a softer effect. Apply the product into the desired shape and placement and then diffuse the edges. If your blush has shimmer or has a wet effect, then you can also opt to skip the highlighter for even more ease.

HAIR AFFAIR

A low-key hairstyle often accompanies nuanced makeup. Loose, low chignons and delicate waves keep things soft and easy.

HIGHS AND LOWS

Add depth and dimension to your lips (hey, we have time) by playing with texture. Metallics, shimmers, and gloss catch the light, so add them on the Cupid’s bow and center of the lips. For an even plumper pout, take a darker hue of lip liner and line the lips—whether along the natural lip line or just outside is up to you.

SOFT FOCUS

Even while keeping your makeup light, don’t forget to anchor the look. It will make a big difference. Take your cue from the K-Beauty pros and apply eye liner as close to the lashes (or tightline if you can) to subtlety define your eyes and bring the whole look together.

CONNECT THE DOTS

Playful pops of color and graphic eye looks rendered in bright white or soft pastels can break the monotony. Go ahead and grab some attention.
