Twenty-four year old Catriona Gray Lava-Walked down the Miss Universe stage during the swimsuit competition while donning a hot pink swimsuit and her hair down. What captured everyone is her real-life slow and speed up motion twirl that buzzed the internet.
Still on the same night, Catriona wore a dazzling orange Mak Tumang long gown during the evening gown competition.
Embellished with crystals and feather details, Mak Tumang and his team of 16 artisans meticulously crafted the Ibong Adarna-inspired gown that took 2,712 hours or 113 days to finish. According to Mak Tumang, Catriona embodies a Phoenix with her resilient, tenacious, and unwavering spirit.
Miss Universe 2018 Coronation Night will be on Monday, December 17 at Impact, Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok, Thailand.
