Last January 26, Filipino fans and car enthusiasts welcomed the man behind the Lamborghini name
Having someone’s life depicted in a biopic is not something far from the ordinary. On the contrary, it’s the exact opposite—and Ferruccio Lamborghini is merely one of those whose life we get to see unfold on screen. Just last January 26, we were invited to a special screening of the film Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend, a movie that showcased the founder’s journey to becoming one of the most iconic names in the car and luxury industries. This event that was held at the Director’s Club in Podium was made possible by PLDT Home and Lionsgate Play.

The night was filled with a variety of guests from those in the media to the car and racing industries such as actor Troy Montero, drifter Ashley Sison, influencer Pau Fajardo, and vlogger James Deakin, who also hosted the fun event. Once guests were already invited to enter the cinema, we were all greeted by PLDT Home, who then also recognized Lionsgate Play General Manager Cecile Mariano before thanking everyone’s consistent support. “PLDT Home is always blessed to have you—[from] turning simple evenings that we have in our heads into an amazing event like this night.”
And after just a few minutes, the cinema was then pitch black as the movie Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend finally began. From start to finish, we were graced with the journey of Ferruccio Lamborghini, from his lowest of lows to highest of highs, in establishing the Lamborghini name that initially began within the tractor industry before entering the world of racing cars.
Through Lionsgate Play, powered by PLDT Home, the release of Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend is now more accessible to a whole lot more car enthusiasts and fans in the Philippines.
