Stockholm where he is currently based, Bryan returns to his home country for some well-deserved R&R. “I do love coming back to the Philippines to pamper myself. I’ve been going to Dr. Belo for 25 years and being in the industry, beauty for me is a tool to improve your life,” he shares about how he recently got Belo’s Vivace Treatment that tightens the skin.

With his trademark silver hair and refined sense of style, he is an unmistakable presence. And when his haters come for him, he only has one answer: he feels too beautiful to care.

“I’m human, I get insecure all the time, but we have so many tools right now such as treatments, and facials or even something as simple as makeup and hair color that can contribute to how you feel and if you feel good, you’re golden,” he advises.

Not one to shy away from controversial topics, he then brought up that a responsibility also falls on the users on how social media defines beauty. “The idea of ‘I want to be Kylie Jenner. I want to look like her because of Instagram,’ shows that the problem is not with Kylie Jenner or social media—the problem is with you. Maybe social media needs to have a warning disclaimer,” Bryan laughs and explains the online world has paid a great contribution to breaking stereotypes.

“It really changed the way the beauty industry played the game. Back in the day, it was all white role models or white celebrities. Now you’re seeing a lot of more diverse faces and inclusivity. If we didn’t have social media, we would still be stuck on traditional beauty marketing.”
