At the moment, they are producing YouTube videos, starting podcasts, and building recognizable brands online. The face of this new wave of photographers is definitely BJ Pascual.
After learning the ropes in New York’s Parsons School of Design, Fashion Institute of Technology, and the International Center for Photography, he took Manila by storm. In only a couple of years, he was able to shoot more than 300 magazine covers, countless billboards and ads for major brands, and capture the faces of internationals stars, such as: Elsa Hosk, Coco Rocha, Sky Ferreira, Pietro Boselli, Noah Centineo and Troye Sivan.
The 33-year-old photographer proves to us that his ambitions know no bounds. You can pursue your dreams in the fashion industry, whether you’re at a young age or from a small town. That is why the MEGA Fashion Awards, co-presented by RLC Residences, has awarded BJ Pascual Photographer of the Year.
