When you watch the red carpet of big award shows like the Golden Globes or Emmys, you’ll find yourself witnessing a parade of extravagant gowns. But in the case of the Grammys, it’s different. Committing a fashion risk is the norm. From donning a very huge voluminous gown to an asymmetrically gorgeous dress, all the stars arrived making sure to command the attention of everyone.

Here are the stand out stars on the red carpet of the Grammys 2020.

Dua Lipa

The thing about Dua Lipa is that even if she wears a simple dress, she can make it look effortlessly elegant and so much more. In fact, once she emerged on the red carpet wearing a white silk dress by Alexander Wang, she impeccably channeled the naughty nineties, down to the strick straight tendrils and architectural knot on her hair.

Alessandra Ambrosio

What can’t a Victoria’s Secret angel do? Well, we’re not sure—really. But what we’re sure of is, they can easily slay any red carpet with their voluptuous body. A perfect example is Alessandra Ambrosio at the Grammys wearing a black and white asymmetrical gown by Balmain.

Ella Mai

Proving that you really can’t go wrong with a red gown on the red carpet is Ella Mai. While she may have chosen the quintessential color for an award’s night, we still applaud her to making it a point for her to standout—all thanks to her red Giorgio Armani tube dress that made her showcase her interesting tattoos.

Sophie Turner

Sophie Turner wonderfully married the definition of chic and edgy. The moment she arrived on the red carpet, she seamlessly caught the attention of the crowd wearing sleeveless sequined top teamed with a ruffle tiered mini skirt by Louis Vuitton.

Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish is famed for her green-dyed hair, and the best thing about her at the Grammys is that she kept her look all true to herself. For the musical festivities, she wore an oversized green Gucci printed suit ensemble over a lime green turtleneck, which she finished off with metallic green Flashtrek sneakers.

Camila Cabello

Revamping her usual look on the red carpet this year is Camila Cabello. While the beauty is known for donning a very feminine dresses before, she chose to add more depth by wearing a vampy-inspired black gown by Versace.

H.E.R.

Filipino-American artist H.E.R. wonderfully gave us a colorful entrance on the red carpet. Not only did she wear an eye-catching dress but she also elevated it in a very chic manner by cinching her waist with a silky champagne gold obi belt.

Ariana Grande

Veering away from her usual sultry look on the red carpet, Ariana Grande had a fantastic fairytale princess moment on the carpet. This year, she wore a frothy voluminous gray tulle by Giambattista Valli, whilst still keeping her high pony-tail hair style.

Lizzo

Lizzo constantly proves that there is love and a whole lot of look to whatever body you are in. This year, she instantly managed to get everyone to look at her when she arrived in a body-hugging white Atelier Versace dress complemented by a white stole.

Bebe Rexha

Defining the true meaning of power suits, we were surprised by Bebe Rexha’s whole ensemble. She elevated the power suit trend by wearing a classic black suit by Christian Cowan and added a hint of sparkles.
