From the disaster caused by typhoon Ondoy in 2009 to the devastating loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Angel Locsin has continued her philanthropic work to give aid to Filipinos in need. For her efforts, she was recognized as one of MEGA’s #NewPH last year, and this year, thanks to her commitment to keep on supporting her fellow Filipinos, Locsin was awarded as one of the Most Promising Leaders of This Generation at the MEGA Fashion Awards, co-presented by RLC Residences. Popular beauty brand Hada Labo was on hand to present the award to the actres.
While she became famous for her work in the entertainment industry, Angel Locsin has always been noted for her philanthropic work. With the heart to serve others, she used her influence and platform to continuously help and change the lives of Filipinos whenever she can. She was also included in Forbes “Heroes of Philanthropy 2019” in Asia for her charitable works. Not only does she donate financial aid to those affected, Angel Locsin personally goes to help distribute goods to people in need whenever she can. Just recently, she also organized a community pantry in celebration of her birthday, with the goal to provide relief goods to people who are affected by the community quarantine implementations in NCR.
A one of a kind actress, Angel Locsin continues to prove that there are angels on Earth.
