Contrary to her Just Julia branding, Julia Barretto’s parties are never just parties—from her grand carousel debut to her Amalfi Coast-inspired outdoor barbecue in 2019, these creative celebrations would always leave fans in awe on social media.

We are always left wondering what’s next for Julia as she turns a year older—be it her parties, projects, and even news about her personal life. The theme for Julia’s birthday bash just sits right for someone who blossomed right in front of our eyes. Here are 5 things we saw and loved about Julia’s night.

1. The dainty floral chic situation

Rob Blancaflor, the event designer of the party, described the feel of the table pieces as, “minimal yet loud splashes of colors of various imported flowers.” This array of bright hues complemented the minimalist look of Balara Content Studio, the venue of the gathering. Fairy lights also adorned the ceiling and served as the backdrop of the band. Even in a confined studio, the decorations were able to mimic a fresh outdoor vibe for the guests.

2. The overflowing good food and drinks

If you’ve been a fan from Julia ever since, you would know that she loves pasta, especially the one from her favorite restaurant. Fans have been spotting her at Cibo since 2013, and she even recreated the resto’s famous penne al telefono in one of her mother’s Christmas vlogs. The cake spread matched with the design of the venue with its floral and fruity elements. And what would a blissful party be without the drinks and the cold cuts? The birthday girl even had a personalized tequila label just for her special night!

3. The true friend attendance

Julia has a lot of friends from show business and her guest list is a testament to that. Yassi and Issa Pressman, Chie Filomeno, Kyle Echarri, Ria Atayde, Awra, and Moira Dela Torre were some of the celebrities present in the occasion. Even Marjorie Barretto’s friends Ruffa Gutierrez and Joy Ortega were there, too!

A bonus treat for the celebrant was a performance by Moira with Julia’s youngest sister, Erich.

4. The candid captures of joy

Jay jay Lucas and Forevermine Wedding Films made sure that the smiles and laughters of the guests were caught on cam. Julia indeed enjoyed her night as the pictures speak for themselves.

5. The lady in an all white ensemble

Stylist Cath Sobrevega had a custom little white dress with crystal hemline embellishments made by Russel May Cordero for Julia. The Badgley Mischka ankle wrap dress sandals matched the outfit and completed the birthday girl’s whole look.
