KathNiel’s solid squad proves that good friendships are really built on trust, support, and experience
Show business has proven time and again that keeping friends is no walk in the park. Busy schedules, unwarranted hearsay, and life’s complications can cause celebrities to have their guards up to anyone. And if there’s a pair who knows this fact, it’s KathNiel. Over the years, the couple has had a fair share of friendship mishaps. But getting older and wiser has allowed them to gauge their truest friends in the industry.
With that said, here’s why their present solid squad is friendship goals:
They keep each other’s secrets.
Zanjoe Marudo, Ria Atayde, and Joshua Garcia have been making headlines for their respective love lives, but not one soul from their group has disclosed any information about them. Although they have been spotted hanging out with everyone numerous times, they respect each other’s privacy.
They see the world together.
From Palawan to Japan, they’re truly bringing their friendship to places! Ria even penned a heartfelt caption for Kathryn about how their travel selves complement each other: “It was nice to finally meet the traveling version of you and I’m so happy and proud to announce that the traveling versions of us get along.”
They express their love through words.
In his Instagram post for their Palawan getaway, Joshua poured his heart out on his friendship with KathNiel and their bunch. “These beautiful people saved me from drowning in loneliness,” he said.
They make time for each other.
Beach trips, dine outs, museum dates, golf games, matching holiday outfits—you name it! Their group is surely ticking off their friendship bucket list one hangout at a time. Despite the commitments their work entails, they know how to keep their closeness intact.
They work together.
KathNiel has built good relationships with their workmates over the years, and their squad is a testament to that. Sofia Andres and Kathryn have been friends for more than a decade, thanks to their roles in Princess and I. Meanwhile, Joshua worked with the pairing in 2016 for their movie Barcelona. Ria was Kathryn’s on-screen friend in the 2018 blockbuster The Hows of Us.
This coming March, Kathryn, Daniel, Joshua, and Zanjoe are even coming to Barcelona, Milan, and Abu Dhabi for a special meet and greet with their fans!
