If you love looking for unique and beautifully designed homeware, then Fornasetti is a brand familiar to you. Founded by Pietro Fornasetti in 1913, the brand is known for their black and white decorative art that are heavily influenced by classical and ancient Roman periods. For Louis Vuitton’s Fall-Winter 2021 collection, Nicolas Ghesquière took inspiration from Fornasetti’s designs, making it a collaboration to talk about.

Presented during the Paris Fashion Week, the virtual runway show was staged in the Michaelangelo Daru Galleries of the Louvre museum. Surrounded by ancient art and Roman statues and sculptures, Louis Vuitton showcased their LV x Fornasetti capsule collection that featured ready-to-wear pieces, bags, and shoes.

Here are 5 LV x Fornasetti pieces we are currently eyeing on:

Speedy Bandoulière 25

Designed with a bright and colourful print showcasing coins designed by Piero Fornasetti, Nicolas Ghesquiere gives the timeless house icon a twist for the Fall-Winter ’21 collection.

Neverfull MM Tote Bag

Unlike the Neverfull, Louis Vuitton is always full of surprises as they unveiled this piece as a part of the LV x Fornasetti capsule collection for Fall-Winter ’21. This chic piece combines the iconic Monogram canvas and an eye-catching Greco-Roman print inspired by antique coins.

Cannes Vase Architettura Bag

A bag that looks like a ceramic art decoration? Sign us up! Crafted with patent calf leather, the Cannes Vase Architettura bag brings the luster of Fornasetti ceramics to fashion.

Petite Malle

A chic bag gets a Roman twist, as the Petite Malle is designed with portraits of Roman statues. Made from metallic gold leather, Monogram canvas trim and gold-color hardware, this LV x Fornasetti piece easily goes from day to night.

Pochette Tête

Be ready to turn heads with this Pochette Tête bag from the LV x Fornasetti capsule collection. Designed with Pietro Fornasetti’s iconic statue heads, this piece serves as Nicolas Ghesquière’s homage to the Italian artist.

The new Louis Vuitton boutique in Greenbelt 3 will open this October 2021.
