Show: Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

Currently airing and ranked as the 8th “most watched” show in Netflix worldwide, Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah paired up for the first time in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha as Hong Du Sik and Yoon Hye Jin. Despite Kim Seon Ho being new in the mainstream K-industry as he started in theater, his pairing with the Shin Min Ah, who is one of Korea’s top actresses, has everyone swooning. Both seem to have a bubbly and outgoing personalities that perfectly complement each other.K-Drama fans can’t get enough of their chemistry and matching dimples.

Han So Hee and Song Kang

Show: Nevertheless

Song Kang and Han So Hee, who were Park Jae Eon and Yu Na Bi in Nevertheless, are one of the strongest K-Drama pairs we’ve been blessed to see this year. Aside from their sizzling scenes in the drama, many fans agreed that the two look great together. Among all the other pairs on this list, these two were the “Gen-Z couple,” since they were both born in the ’90s and most of their fans are also from this generation. These two young actors were dubbed as one of those who will lead the next 4th generation of Hallyu wave across the globe.

Jeon Yeo Been and Song Joong Ki

Show: Vincenzo

Vincenzo was one of the top performing Korean dramas in Netflix this year ranking 4th worldwide. Due to the success of the show, it skyrocketed leading actress Jeon Yeo Been to fame, and Song Joong Ki solidified his career as one of Korea’s most versatile actors. Their chemistry was so intense that their fans were hoping they would get together in real life. Proof? Just recently in Busan International Film Festival, the two made headlines because of Song Joong Ki’s sweet gesture towards Jeon Yeo Been on the red carpet, where he looked back on her twice when he heard the announcer called her name. Not only that, the two were also captured together before the event via their Vincenzo co-star, Jo Han Chul’s Instagram post. Fans appreciated how the two remained close 8 months after their show ended.

Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin

Show: Crash Landing On You

Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin’s strong chemistry was founded on years of collaboration and friendship since they’ve already starred together before reuniting in the crazy popular Crash Landing On You. The two seemed destined to cross paths time and time again. In 2011, Son Ye-jin made a cameo in Hyun Bin’s hit drama, Secret Garden. She appeared in the last episode as herself. However, they did not meet on set. In 2017, Hyun Bin and Son starred in the movie, The Negotiation, the first time they officially work together. Finally in 2020, both were casted again in CLOY and ended up dating in real life. These two are every K-Drama fans’ dream come true.

Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji

Show: It’s Okay To Not Be Okay

Coming from the same agency, Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji who played Moon Gang Tae and Ko Mun Yeong in the award-winning Netflix original series, It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, had undeniable chemistry right off the bat. Their contrasting personalities add to their chemistry. Seo Ye Ji’s more introverted in real life and Kim Soo Hyun is the clumsier one between the two. There was a rumor about the two being in relationship before their show together aired, meaning they were already exes when they shot It’s Okay To Not Be Okay. However, no evidence surfaced to prove this claim. So, is there still hope for Soo Hyun-Ye Ji to be end game?
