Paris Fashion Week is not just an exhibition of fashion houses for their seasonal collections. It is also a gathering of stars with style.

It is no longer a secret that Dior is a staple fashion brand in the world of celebrities. From the Lady Dior to the Book Tote, the Maison has established its power to ascribe an individual’s affluence and sartorial taste with their ownership of something Dior.

And if we are to dissect what is it with Dior, then the list would definitely go on. We can start, however, with Spring-Summer 2023 Collection. The pieces for the coming seasons were inspired by the universal truth that if one were to trace the history of fashion through a map, elements and symbols of womanhood would never not be in the picture.

Inspired by the fashion breakthroughs of Catherine de’ Medici, the traditions of the Maison, and the constant redefinition of Paris, Dior opens its House to the following celebrities who—like them—are cartographers who draw the maps where people can find understanding, inclusivity, and power.

Heart Evangelista

Heart was her red and black Lady D-Joy bag personified with her printed dress and leather-slash-lace gloves. It is truly giving a modern Red Queen ensemble from Alice in Wonderland.

Jisoo

The K-Pop idol embodies the modern eleganza that the Maison forwards, and it is no surprise that she represents the brand for fashion and beauty. Clad in a black crumpled dress with fishnet stocks and sporting a mini Lady Dlite Bag, Jisoo could shut down the whole area with this simple yet striking look.

Cha Eun Woo

Take it from Eun Woo’s stature to carry an all-black outfit without making it boring. The statement piece—the embroidered Cannage Quilted Coat—was a good way to add texture to what could otherwise be a full-on matte outfit.

Rosamund Pike

Pro-tip: If you’re going to layer your clothing because of the cold, don’t lose the attitude of your style underneath by covering it entirely. Just like the Gone Girl star, opt for an outwear with a higher cut than whatever’s underneath. In that way, it will showcase the print or texture of your inner outfit. The Toile de Juoy print of Rosamund’s shirt dress was still visible underneath the long cape. To complete the look, she donned some black Diorquake Clogs.

Natalie Portman

Caped dresses and gowns are signature Dior silhouette, and Natalie certainly has a thing for them. Rehashing her 75th Venice Film Festival Look, the actress added some stockings to update her ensemble for the fashion show. With Natalie rewearing the dress from 2018, her style serves as a reminder that Dior will always bring something timeless every single time.

Shailene Woodley

The actress mixed business and party pieces for this whole look. Keeping it smart yet laidback, she mixed tan and black achieving a clean, crisp style.

Maggie Gyllenhaal

Maggie went full-on lace from her top to toe ensemble with a black, leather belt situation to cut the lace situation. Lace will always be a go-to choice if you want to achieve a delicate yet sultry balance with your sartorial fabrics.

Romee Strijd

The Dutch model channeled a contemporary take on the straight cut dress plus boots combo that flourished in the 60s. The CD buttons of her dress actually match the gold hardware of her Micro Saddle Bag.

Katherine Langford

The actress was a striking lady in red with her whole number reminiscent of the House’s tribute to Spanish femininity in their Cruise collection. The touch of black with the inner wear and piping gave the overall finish more character.

Alexandra Daddario

Alexandra donned two pieces from the Andalusian-inspired 2023 Cruise Collection—the ivory embroidered blazer and patterned Saddle Bag. According to creative director Maria Grazia Churi, Cruise Collection was inspired by Carmen Amaya—”La Capitana“—the most revered flamenco dancer who rejected the gender rules of fashion.

Chiara Ferragni

In similar fashion to Chiarra’s strong, statement looks, this one is no exception to that with the leather and black eyeliner situation. Aside from the sheer lace, the embroidered Saddle Bag from the Cruise 2023 Collection was a good contrast to the leather coordinates.

Ramla Ali

The boxer-slash-model donned a fringed and open knit number to pair her black Dior Caro Box Bag. It is truly giving a modern chic vibe!

Emma Raducanu

The British tennis player opted for a straightforward sweater and a light pink printed skirt for her classic style at the show.
