Miss Universe Philippines is back on its second year under the leadership of Binbining Pilipinas Universe 2011, Shamcey Supsup-Lee, who acts as as the national director. This time around they’re making the pageant bigger than ever before. We’ve gotten full marketing campaigns from the Miss Universe Philippines organization as they officially announced the start of the competition with their first 100 beauty queens. After an exciting round of headshots and video interviews, the ladies were narrowed down to the top 75. Although there will still be cuts from 75 to 50 candidates, we’ve already got our eyes on 10 queens who seem to have what it takes to snatch the crown. As a side note, we’re basing this from the current challenges and social media posts of the candidates. The best part about the Philippine pageantry is there’s always a great dark horse story waiting to happen. So, we’re still keeping our eyes on Miss Universe Philippine’s socials for more updates.
