Two Big Icons Meet In The Furla Hello Kitty Collection

By

Established in 1927, Furla has been a widely known purveyor of fine designer handbags made of the best Italian leather and has played an important role in fashion history. Meanwhile on the other side of the spectrum, Hello Kitty remains a notable Japanese pop culture figure in her own right. Now in an unexpected fusion, two massive icons collide in a capsule collection that connects the East and the West.

Hello Kitty, the lovely symbol of many generations, today encounters Furla in an original creative collaboration—inviting us on a romantic journey through the blossoming landscapes of Italy. Of course, the star of the collaboration is Furla’s house icon: The Metropolis crossbody. It serves as a palette for three digital prints starring Hello Kitty. On a pink, red, or blue background, Hello Kitty is surrounded by flowers: white petals which are a perfect cross between daisies, hibiscus flowers, cherry blossoms, and lotus flowers, linking the culture and creativity of the two worlds.

There is also a fourth Furla Metropolis that celebrates their fusion with Hello Kitty in a white Ares calfskin body with a wide strap in black leather and Hello Kitty’s face with its characteristic pink and red bow for the flap.

Not just full sized handbags, the capsule collection also features some key accessories such as micro bags, credit card cases, Saffiano beauty cases, key rings and pouches with prints and themes of the Metropolis.

The Furla Hello Kitty collection is available now in selected Furla flagship stores so hurry and grab these exclusive designs before they sell out fast.
