Celebrating its 20th anniversary in the industry, F&H brought everyone to the fashion jungle for its runway show at the MEGA Fashion Week 2018. As tropical plants took centerstage and models strut the runway to the beat of the percussion and drums, the local retail brand finally unveiled its newest ambassadors together with its collection titled, “Stay Wild.”
Consisting 20 different characters–bat, beetle, cobra, cricket, dragonfly, leopard, lion, mantis, moth, panther, scorpion, salamander, seahorse, snake, spider, starfish, swallow, tiger, vulture, and wolf–F&H encouraged everyone to channel their own spirit animals.
Showcasing a wear-to-work dressing with sporty details that’s modern, easy, comfortable, and sharp, the 20 icons were embroidered into the looks. Still retaining the brand’s wearable clothes such as bomber jackets, polos, denim, and graphic shirts, F&H proves that their clothes will always be anchored from a youthful attitude.
Offering an ingenious creation in Philippine fashion, the trendy fast-fashion brand made a case for PVC clothing in their holiday collection. As F&H was able to elevate and repurpose the synthetic fabric, the plastic fashion trend will now be able to make its way from the runway to your wardrobes.
But the most surprising component of the whole show was when F&H finally revealed their newest ambassadors: Edward Barber and Maymay Entrata. Edward looked dashing in a navy blue bomber jacket over a green shirt, while Maymay looked exquisite in a red PVC corset over an oversized gray sweater.
Opening the runway show and leading the pack was Jess Wilson wearing a red plunge-front neckline partnered with strapped heels. F&H’s creative director for this campaign, Mond Gutierrez, opted to strut the runway in a black PVC vest showcasing the brand’s new logo at the back. Finally, making a powerful finale walk for F&H was Nadine Lustre in a black corseted number.
