Lustrous, the much-awaited makeup collaboration between Nadine Lustre and BYS Cosmetics has finally arrived! To kickstart her line, a launch party was held at Flossom Kitchen + Cafe, San Juan last night. Here’s what went down:
The night started with opening remarks by Kiana Valenciano, a fellow BYS endorser and one of Nadine’s best friends. Can we just point out how much we love her new short ‘do?
Moments later, Nadine made her entrance, sharing with the audience her experience with creating Lustrous. She revealed to us how hands-on she was with the line, from its conception to each and every shade to the packaging of each product. We saw that makeup is clearly one of the star’s passions, as it allows her true individuality to shine.
There was also a live makeup tutorial by Nadine’s trusted makeup artist Jelly Eugenio. He created one of the star’s most iconic looks—fresh and sun-kissed. He did this by pointing out the key features of the looks: brushed up brows that look natural and a blush that extends from the upper part of each cheek, passing through the nose.
Finally, Lustrous was revealed to the audience. Nadine shared that the 12-piece collection consists of items that she considers essential for her everyday look. It includes eyeshadow palettes, eyeliner, mascara, lip and cheek tint, brow products and a bronzer and highlighting palette. Whether you want to hit the beach or head out to a party at night, the range of products allow you to achieve your desired look.
