When news of Maine Mendoza’s lipstick collaboration with MAC Cosmetics came out, fans and the beauty world was buzzing with excitement, with this question on everyone’s minds: what shade would the lipstick be?

Now, they have finally unveiled the lipstick shade, which is a flattering nude. It comes along with simple packaging that features her own lip mark. While many guessed that the star would go along her signature red lip, Maine shares that she wanted something that would be universally flattering on all skin types and suitable for any occasion. She also flew to Canada herself to have her lipstick shade formulated in the MAC Lab.
The star’s authenticity and the fact that she epitomizes Filipina beauty is why MAC decided to make her part of the MAC Maker campaign along with 12 other celebrities and influencers all over the world. Maine is the only Asian star to be part of it. The rest of the MAC Makers are the following: Patricia Bright (UK), Jamie Genevieve (UK), Nyma Tang (USA), Sonjdra Deluxe (Canada), Paulina Goto (Mexico), Nel Calderon (Chile), Niina Secrets (Brazil), Paulina Rojinski (Germany), Ahood Alenezi (Middle East), Aida Domenech (Spain) and Late Clapp (Russia).
Want a tip to level up your nude lipstick? Maine suggests using a lipliner to make sure it stays on all day long. Since she loves a healthy glow, she also encourages applying sunblock everyday to protect one’s skin.
Maine’s MAC Maker lipstick will be exclusively available for purchase at lazada.ph on September 21, at MAC SM Megamall on September 22, at all MAC stores on September 23 and globally through MAC online on November 2018.
