As it was also the first collection of Nicola Glass since the founder’s passing, she enchantingly captured Spade’s blissful spirit by highlighting the original aesthetic of the New York-based brand. Here are the three trends we spotted during Kate Spade’s tribute to its marvelous creator:

The Signature Spade Logo

With the goal to pay respect and homage to Kate Spade, Glass puts emphasis on the brand’s signature spade logo in her collection. She artistically incorporated it through the prints of the dresses and created a three-dimensional spade emboss into some bags.

Dainty Colors

Channeling the bubbly character of Kate Spade, the collection also featured dainty colors throughout its pieces. From  yellow, pink, purple, and green, Glass definitely gave justice and brought life to the effervescent brand of Kate Spade.

Flower Power

As spring time marks the start a of new life after the cold winter, the brand perfectly portrayed to everyone that everything will blossom again showcasing a myriad of floral patterns in the spring and summer collection.
