Call them cycling shorts or pedal pushers, but there’s something about this discreetly sexy (and comfortable!) questionable trend that adds an extra oomph and chicness to the usual wardrobe of fitness buffs and you can blame it on Kim Kardashian or husband Kanye West. From Off-White, Saint Laurent to Nina Ricci’s Spring/Summer runways, the ‘cycling shorts’ trend isn’t vanishing anytime soon. Below, celebrities show us how to wear spring’s most unexpected trend.

1. KIM KARDASHIAN

First off the list is reality star Kim Kardashian-West who popularized the cycling shorts trend along with her husband Kanye West for his Yeezy collection. She’s been spotted countless times stylizing her biker shorts with an oversized layering piece, on some days with a form-fitting top or a hoodie.

2 KENDALL JENNER

The trend’s been pervading the wardrobe of not only Kim but also her half sister Kendall Jenner. During one of her days out in Paris, Kendall kept it laid-back in a citrus yellow off shoulder top paired with strappy sandals, a black headband and tiny sunglasses for that casual chic look.

3. CHRISTINE CENTENERA

Not one to miss on the latest trends, the fashion editor of Vogue Australia opted for an oversized blazer with power shoulders and a Louis Vuitton fanny pack from Off-White creative director Virgil Abloh’s first collection for the brand for that contemporary kick.

4. KATY PERRY

Plunging into the trend is pop singer Katy Perry in Chanel head-to-toe. Think sporty, but business. Definitely something that Hillary Clinton would wear on her days off.

5. PRINCESS DIANA

Last but not the least is Diana, Princess of Wales who was spotted wearing a pair of hot pink cycling shorts circa 1995, a logo sweatshirt and dad sneakers. It’s the ultimate fitspo look that defined the central theme for Off-White’s Princess D inspired collection for women last season.
