5 Key Trends Spotted At Bench Fashion Week

By

There were several key trends that reemerged during the first day of the Bench Fashion week. From the playful holiday collection of Cotton On, to the fierce attitude of Proud Race’s aesthetic, there were numerous style inspirations that you can cop for your next look. Here are five key trends that we spotted during the first day:

Stripes and Checks

Being a classic pattern that never goes out of style, these colorful lines had a very big presence on the runway. Ace the look by partnering it with a denim jeans in patchwork finish or with a side stripe. Style Tip: Make sure you match the palette, not the pattern.

Logo Shirts

We are in for a dose of graphic tees as campus-ready casual pieces were highlighted proving that it remains to be one of the essentials when it comes to street style. Strut the hallways sporting for these logo shirts that you can wear at work paired with a blazer or cardigan, or with a denim jacket for a night out with friends.

Oversized Sleeves

The oversized sleeves has been a trend since last year, but it seems that this fashion staple will be staying for quite some time. Dominate the street style trend by pairing the statement sleeves with a basic pair of dark denim jeans.

Berets

Making a strong case for feminine dressing, Berets are having a real style surge in the industry. The best thing about this chic Parisian accessory is that it suits literally every hairstyle and is perfect for the holiday season.

Quirky Bags

Quirky bags are in and they’re here to make sure you stand out from the crowd. Leave your dull bags this season in your closet, and go for bold and statement bags to give you a uniquely exciting outfit.
