MEGA magazine celebrated its 26th anniversary in the only way it knows how—by throwing a party that was all about dancing, conversations and a genuinely good time.
Traditionally, the follow up to a major milestone year would mean something more quiet and intimate, but MEGA is not one to go gently into a good night, as they say. The magazine rolled out a hip and happening party at Revel at the Palace where everyone from the who’s who (did you catch the sleek and sultry Heart Evangelista stun in an all-white Dior ensemble?) to the up-and-coming (Lauren Reid and Alex Diaz came by to party as well) dropped by and stayed well into the night’s festivities.
Kicking things off was Editor-in-Chief, Peewee Reyes-Isidro, who welcomed friends, guests, collaborators and brand partners to the night’s festivities, giving everyone a peek at the fantasy-filled anniversary February issue. To top things all off, the much-anticipated trailer for the #MakingMEGAinGermany trailer was unveiled, which took everyone’s breaths away. Starring on-the-cusp showbiz royalty, Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber, the narrative full of romance, fancy and temperamental weather had everyone on edge as to what will happen next. Soon to be released, this is one documentary that is definitely one that shouldn’t be missed.
With free-flowing bubbly and spirits, music that made everyone bust out their best kept dance moves and chatter that rang into a lovely chorus all until the wee hours of the morning; it was definitely a night to remember. From catching up to making new plans, this was a milestone in itself—a coming together of a year that is bound to be just as, if not more memorable than the last.
